Thanks, TheMeepingKoala!
How interesting. This was supposed to be published yesterday. I might’ve hit ‘Save’ instead of ‘Publish’. Hmmm.

Questions
What is your favorite song and why do you like it? Gasp! What is this crazy assumption that I haveĀ one favorite song, or even that my favorite song is always the same and I never change my mind?! At the moment I’m quite taken with, um, The Breaking of the Fellowship by Howard Shore fromĀ The Fellowship of the Ring. I’m surprised that nerdiness isn’t dribbling out my ears as we speak because I have so much of it. Anyway. I love it because it’s eight minutes of pretty yet sad music. I was so frustrated when I got the CD of the score from the library and it wouldn’t work! That must be like the only time I’ve ever gotten mad at the library. I’m getting off-topic now, aren’t I?
Pizza or cheeseburger? Definitely pizza, because there are so many variations on it.
Have you ever been to a different country? If so, which one? Yes, just Canada. TOMORROW, THE WORLD!
Do you craft at all? Me?! Ha ha ha ha ha! I’m the girl with two left thumbs, both of which I glue together by accident. (Not really.) Well, I guess I do make stuff for the Holiday Ornaments project in 4-H, but that’s only one piece per year. I don’t suppose building model rockets counts…
Favorite season? Fall. My birthday is in September and I also love the colors of the leaves.
Favorite color? Blue! Prettiest color ever. My room is blue. Loads of my clothes are blue.
Earliest memory? Sitting down on the floor in a circle along with other kids for storytime in preschool. I was probably about four.
Favorite memory? Um. Probably visiting San Francisco. Wonderful city.
Have you ever really wanted to erase a memory of something (in other words, brain-bleach)? No…
Your ideal home would be on the sea, forest, beach, riverside, or hills? Forest, because that feels the most peaceful and protected.
Questions of Strangeness
I apologize for how weird these are. They’re whatever popped into my mind first.
Would you rather be a lobster or a crab?
What was the last book you read?
How do you feel about sheep?
Where are the wild things?
What have I got in my pockets?
Which of your blog posts are you most proud of?
Would you rather be an octopus or a squid?
What will you be known for ten years in the future?
What is the funniest song lyric you have ever misheard?
What would your superhero name be?

Also, this is unrelated to the blog award, but two of the teen writers whose blogs I follow – Miriam and Charley – are publishing their first book soon. I thought it was today but I don’t think it is, but it’s soon. So check it out, maybe? I think it’s kind of cool because it’s not every day that teens publish books. Also based the writing on their blogs, they’re way better than I-wrote-a-Lord-of-the-Rings-rip-off-when-I-was-fifteen-aren’t-I-just-darling-Christopher-Paolini.
And the third Kiki Strike book is out today! Has anyone else even heard of those books?
Also, I’m sad because I didn’t get any comments/critiques on my last photography post. Hint, hint.
I was also surprised this morning when I saw that I didn’t have any comments on this post. It might help if I’d actually published this. Ergh.

For those reading her questions, please keep in mind Nevillegirl has been on cold medicine for the last three days…..
Oh very funny.
HAHAHA.
TECHNICALLY publishing. IT’S VERY COMPLICATED!
(It’s far too complicated to explain in a comment, maybe because I don’t get it myself.)
For those who want updates and to know when it’s actually being released, http://stmallorys.com
I vill change vat I wrote about it. *is a vampire today* *swooshes cape*
Like I said….cold meds……
TOMORROW MORNING! HOPEFULLY! (Just updating some formatting errors and I believe Mark is writing a foreword.) In the UK it least it should be all fine and ready to go by early tomorrow morning. Je sais pas about the rest of the world.
CONGRATULATIONS! I’ll get my TARDIS/Apparition license/etc and go to the UK, then.
Idk about the US. Hopefully around the same time…?
Yay!
I saw the post on “Random Writing Rants” about your book. Congrats!
And Michelle just told me I could put my query letter up on her blog on FAN Friday for suggestions from other writers so I’m very excited!
XD Oh, Nevillegirl. Hilarious post today.
Meep. What was so funny about it? My getting off-topic? My nerdiness? My comments to Liam?
Everything. *nods decisively*
I’m glad. *curtsies* *curtseys* *cannot figure out how to spell that word, which is shocking as the spelling bee winner*
*curtsies back* *was taught to spell it like this*
*curtsies again and thanks The Meeping Koala*
Spelling bee winner? Wow, nice job! I think I got third or fourth place a few years ago in our home school group, but the other two contestants were way older than me. XD ;P
^_^ I’m still kicking myself a bit for missing a word because it the regional round for the Scripps Bee. And I haven’t really found other nerdy contests like it (Scripps isn’t for high schoolers). NaNo isn’t quite the same…
That sucks. I have a hard time with certain words but I can’t think of them right now. XD ;P Oh, yeah. Onomatopoeia. I didn’t spell it right the first time I typed it here. ;P I had to use the spell check thingy. XD
I used to misspell “weird” a lot.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
This is my first blogger award and I was SOOOOO happy when I saw it! I got home from an art/cross-stitching class and my mom told me to check my e-mail for an awesome surprise. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!
I need more weird and bizarre friends. You can never have enough in your life.
Ugh, I haven’t been keeping up with my blogs very much between my most recent Write Practice post (click the link to see! http://thewritepractice.com/create-word/) and lots of home schooling stuff. I want to see your photos! They’re always awesome.
Thanks again!
Really?! I thought you’d gotten some before. Well, I’m glad it made you happy.
The latest photo post is just below this one…
Nope. Just this one!
But it seems like you’ve gotten a lot. *Scrolls down endlessly to see the awards.* Yup.
I’ll have to check it out soon. Oh, and I nominated you again for this award, so I don’t know how that’ll work since you’ve already won, but you’re one of my favorite blogs, so I needed to nominate you anyway. XD
http://themagicviolinist.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-sisterhood-of-world-bloggers-award-d.html
Indeed. I have posts for two more in the works. I got three awards in four days. O_o
Haha thanks! But I don’t think I’ll do the award again.
That’s okay. I figured you wouldn’t again, but I wanted to nominate you anyways.
*is honored*
Thanks for the award! I’ll try to get to it as soon as possible.
You’re welcome!
Ooo, I like the questions you came up with. I think I’d rather be an octopus.
Really? Why? I can’t decide – I could hold eight books at once or write eight stories at once if I were an octopus, but giant squids are cool too.
Eight is my lucky number, and I guess I just like octopuses. Octopi?
Octopi in an octopie!
I believe the plural is actually octopuses. Counterintuitively.
I know. But octopie is funnier.
Yes, I find that publishing the post makes it easier to get comments.
Love question five, by the way.
Who would have ever guessed?!
*didn’t actually remember what #5 was so had to open up yet another tab*
I’m interested to see what people write for that one…
I was scanning through this and saw my name. Immediately I thought, “Blast it, she’s found a way to get me into a sisterhood!” But thank you for giving me a pass.
…
…
…
Even *I*, in all my weirdness, wouldn’t get you into a sisterhood. *facepalms* Of course I’d give you a pass. Unless – unless you want to be an honorary girl. Liam-ina?
I think my answer is obvious.
*nods* I’m presuming the answer is “yes”.
Well then, congratulations!
I thank you.
You do want to be an honorary girl?!
*bonks Liam on the shoulder with Riptide, the Sword of Gryffindor, and Anduril all at once* I hereby dub thee Liamina!
*grabs all three swords, plus Brisingr and the sword of Martin the Warrior and lops off Engie’s head* I hearby dub you dead.
Brisingr is lame. Martin is a mouse, right? So his sword is like a toothpick. I hereby dub you silly.
And the Sword of Gryffindor? Don’t get me started.
What’s wrong with it?
It’s a sword for thieves, liars and uncoordinated people, the latter in the hope that the wielder will decapitate himself. If Brisingr is lame presumably because its wielder is lame (which I agree with), the SoG is lame because its wielder is lame.
*slices Liam’s head off with Anduril and writes on him with Riptide*
Now, that I’ll agree to. To die with Anduril’s mark, ’tis an honorable death.
Then begone, foul creature!
Charley killed me first, by the way. Or actually, I died at her hands before I did at yours. But anyway, *is dead*
Why am I not surprised by that? She’s thrown flaming teddy bears at me.
Has she tackled you off a cliff into the TARDIS?
Oh my. No. Not yet, anyway.
I’m surprised you keep commenting on something presumably only girls would be interested in, and haven’t yet commented on my Two Towers review to point out all the things I got wrong in it.
Okay – Firstly I’m such a loser for responding like a year later (it’s actually 18 days).
I love getting awards. They’re like reassurances that people read what I write. Or wrote – as the case is nowadays. Haven’t written for more than 18 days. D:
But in my defense, there /has/ been a lot going on for the past month or so in my life.
I shall dedicate a post to the amazing time that January’s have proved to be for me, second year running.
And secondly – THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
You’re not a loser! People get busy.
People get VERY busy.. D:
