Trip to Indianapolis Part I

On Wednesday we drove down to Indianapolis. The next day we were going to page for Senator Karen Tallian at the Statehouse. After we got to the hotel, Mom, Adam, and I walked over to the Indiana State Museum Center for Science and Culture.

The first exhibit we looked at was about prehistoric sea life.

We also passed an exhibit on coprolites (go look it up!).

‘Darrel Frogknife’ (you know who you are) should like this next part:

Yes!!! The mammoth exhibit!!!! There were also casts of prehistoric ox and beaver fossils. And there was a baby tooth from a mammoth.

The one at the bottom is a beaver.

Some of the other exhibits we looked at were about famous people from Indiana, the history/nature/wildlife of Indiana, and ‘Odd Indiana’.
