The 30-Day Blogging Challenge, Day 28: A Scar I Have And It’s Story

  • Day 28: A scar you have and it’s story.

I have this amazing scar on my forehead that looks like this:

No, sadly, I don’t really have a lightning-bolt scar on my forehead like Harry Potter. Supposedly Albus Dumbledore has a scar on his knee that is a perfect map of the London Underground (Am I being too nerdy? Just let me know and I’ll stop.), which would be helpful. I need a scar that is a map of the library!

So here is a real scar I have:

It is on my left knee. Both of my knees have quite a few scars on them (you can see another one to the bottom left of the one in the center of the photo), mostly from falling off my bike while I was riding it. This scar, however, I didn’t get from a bike accident. I think I was 5 when one day, I went down into the basement to get something, panicked and thought I heard monsters down there (no, I’m serious), and ran up the stairs. Or rather, I ran smack into the sharp corner of the bottom step. I can still remember how much it hurt, and how I clumsily walked up the stairs to get a bandage.

So, none of my scars are nearly as impressive as Harry’s. But I did have a cool story about this one.
