- Go to one of the Doctor Who Proms.
- See the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.
- Go to the midnight premiere of a movie.
- Go to a movie dressed up as one of its characters.
- Read an entire series aloud to someone.
- Eat vegetarian food for at least two weeks, just to see what it’s like.
- Cut my hair really short just for a change.
- Attend an Adele concert.
Come out to my parents. (6/30/13)- Have a piece of writing published in New Moon Girls magazine.
- Read every book Agatha Christie ever wrote, mystery or otherwise.
- Sew something that I can actually wear.
- Earn a black belt in karate.
Vote. (5/6/14)- Have at least one book published.
- Visit the Robie House in Chicago.
- Receive advice from a favorite author.
- Job-shadow someone in the publishing/writing industry.
- Go to prom. Yes, with a girl.
- Win Grand Champion in 4-H Photography.
- Successfully petition the local school district to change their policies regarding homeschoolers and access to extracurricular activities and sports.
- Visit Australia.
- Visit New Zealand.
- Visit the UK.
- Visit France, particularly Paris.
- Visit Italy.
- Visit Greece.
- Visit Spain.
- Visit Egypt.
- Visit China.
- Visit Japan.
- Visit India.
- Visit the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam.
- Travel to all fifty states.
- Ski. Downhill, not cross-country, because cross-country is boring.
- Start a photography business taking portraits.
- Meet one of those obscure authors who’s important to me, like Lev AC Rosen, Emily M. Danforth, or Kirsten Miller.
- Be an extra in a movie.
- Be someone’s penpal for ten years or more.
- Build a humongous catapult and fling pumpkins with it.
- Make a short claymation film.
- Learn to play the guitar.
- Learn to play the drums.
- Learn to play the violin.
- Become fluent in Spanish.
- Become fluent in Latin.
- Become fluent in Classical Greek.
- Become fluent in Arabic.
- Be an exchange student.
- Help a state/national political campaign.
- Interview an elderly person about their childhood. Just because.
- Live in San Francisco for a time because it’s a beautiful city.
- Make sourdough bread because it’s delicious and Boudin’s in San Francisco is so far away.
- Stay up all night reading.
- Stay up all night writing.
- Be in a play.
- Write a play.
- Write a picture book. Dedicate it to an awesome child.
- Tour the White House.
- Write a sonnet and give it to someone I love.
- Learn to read and write in the Tengwar from Lord of the Rings.
- Learn to read and write Circular Gallifreyan.
- Swim in the ocean.
- Learn to knit.
- Learn to crochet.
- Write a biography of an admired famous person.
- Invent a game.
